PURPOSE:To obtain a highly efficient permanent magnet by a method wherein the mixture, consisting of a bonding agent formed by adding aliphatic carboxylic acid ester to epoxy resin and rare-earth magnetic powder, is molded in a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:An alloy of composition of Sm(Co0.614Cu0.07Fe0.30Zr0.016)7.8 is dissolved in a low frequency dissolving furnance, it is formed into an ingot, heat treatments such as a fusing treatment, an aging treatment and the like are performed, and it is pulverized until the grain diameter of 3-80mum is obtained using a ball mill. On the other hand, a bonding agent wherein aliphatic carboxylic acid ester of 20wt% is uniformly dispersed on epoxy resin is prepared, this carboxylate ester of 20wt% is added to the magnetic powder obtained as above, and they are kneaded using a kneading machine. The above is press-molded in a magnetic field of 20kOe and heated at 150 deg.C for 1hr. As a result, a highly efficient resin bonded type magnet having high residual magnetic flux density, high squareness and the largest energy product can be obtained. |
