PURPOSE:To form a small-sized, complicate display pattern which is made thin and also observed even in the nighttime by coloring operation by providing a conductive film in a desired shape on the surface of an insulating substrate, and forming a color display layer which changes color reversibly at specific temperatures on the film. CONSTITUTION:The conductive film 4 of ITO, etc., is formed on the insulating substrate 2, electrodes 6a-6c are formed thereupon, and the film 4 is etched in a desired shape. A temperature sensor 9 is connected to an electrode 6c and the film 4 and electrodes 6a and 6b are connected mutually by connection 7. The entire surface is coated with a thermal reversible color changing paint to form the color display layer 10. When a voltage is applied between the electrodes 6a and 6b by a temperature controller TC to flow a current to the film 4, the temperature of the film 4 rises and the color display layer 10 changes color at specific temperatures, so that the display panel is observed even in the nighttime. |
