PURPOSE:To maintain the internal pressure of a furnace and to reduce the consumption of atmospheric gas by feeding gas sucked from suction holes formed between jet nozzles and an opening of the furnace to not only the jet nozzles but also the inside of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A throat 4 is formed at the outside of an opening 3 of a furnace 1 through which a body 2 to be heated passes, and jet nozzles 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b inclined inward are arranged in the throat 4 so that they confront both sides of the body 2. Suction holes 8a, 8b are formed between the nozzles 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b and the opening 3, and gas sucked into the throat 4 from the suction holes 8a, 8b with a circulating fan 9 is divided between the nozzles 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b and the furnace 1. |
