PURPOSE:To prevent a diver from suffering from a caisson dicease, by a method wherein a diving depth, a diving time, and a surfacing speed are measured, stored, and displayed. CONSTITUTION:Data on a surfacing hold depth and a hold time, depending upon each diving depth and diving time, are stored as a reference data in a CPU4. The CPU4 compares present data, read from an RAM memory 5, with the reference data, and if the present data exceeds the reference data, an alarm is sounded to a diver through an alarming device 7. An alarm is reported to a diving worker from a diving managing device when a hazardous state occurs during diving, and this enables the diving worker to act so as to immediately escape from said hazardous state.
