PURPOSE:A granular composition for agricultural purposes that is obtained by adding a specific organic acid to ethoprophos and granulating them, thus showing reduced percutaneous toxicity. CONSTITUTION:Granular preparation for agricultural purposes which contains, as an active ingredient, ethoporphos: O-ethyl S,S-dipropyl phosphorodithioate, active as a soil insecticide and nematodes against a variety of nematodes, gold beetles, wireworms and scale insects is combined with more than 0.1wt%, preferably 0.5-5wt% of an organic acid such as citric, succinic, malic, fumaric, maleic, tartaric, adipic or lactic acid. The granular preparation is manufactured by spraying granules of mineral support impregnated with ethoprophos with a solution of the organic acid in an organic solvent or spraying the support with a solution of ethoprophos and the organic acid in an organic solvent.
