PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a highly reliable split superconducting coil capable of being cooled efficiently and generating a highly accurate magnetic field can be wound. SOLUTION: In a method for winding split superconducting coil, a split superconducting coil is formed of a superconducting wire W having no connection by winding the wire W around an upper winding section 2 by a prescribed odd number of turns and around a lower winding section 4 by a prescribed even number of turns, after the wire W has been led to a section 4 via a guide 8 provided to an intermediate flange, and then, further winding the single wire W having no connected places around the external surface of the coil wound around the upper winding section 2 by a prescribed odd number of turns, after the wire W is to the section 2 via the guide 8 provided to the intermediate flange. Therefore, the coil can be cooled efficiently, is improved in reliability, and is able to generate a highly accurate superconducting magnetic field. |
