PURPOSE:To prepare a flocky articles having superior cushioning effect by executing flocking on the surface of a base material after applying a foamed or foamable adhesive thereon, and curing and drying by heating. CONSTITUTION:A blowing agent such as p,p'-oxybis(benzenesulfonyl hydrazide), etc. is added to an adhesive, which is applied to the surface of a base material comprising acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, etc. Then, short fibers are flocked while the adhesive is yet undried and in the hot and soft atate, in an electric field. Suitable material for the short fiber is polyamide, polyester, rayon, acrylic fiber, etc. Suitable adhesive comprises polyvinyl acetate resin, acrylic resin, styrene-butadiene rubber, etc.
