PURPOSE:To obtain the titled flocked product with soft feel by coating an adhesive on an nonwoven fabric base material to be flocked, flocking stable fibers, curing the adhesive, and providing an elastomer to the base material before its material component are removed when a part of the material components is removed by dissolution or decomposition. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive is coated on a nonwoven fabric base material to be flocked, and stable fibers are flocked. After the adhesive is cured, 5-40wt%, based on the weight of the base material, elastomer (e.g., natural rubber) is provided to the base material when >=5wt% said material component is removed by dissolution or decomposition. A flocked product having a soft feel even after dyeing, without the recovery of thickness of the ground fabric, and without the generation of fuzz on the unflocked surface is manufactured in this way. A flocked product having high drapeability, with soft feel to the hand like a feather, without the lowering of tear strength and flocking strength, and excellent especially for clothing can be obtained.
