PURPOSE:To simplify input operation at registration by reading a destination station name and a sender station name as picture information and recording and registering the information corresponding to a telephone number data while keeping the picture information. CONSTITUTION:When the operator allows a read section 6 to read a paper sheet P0 on which a sender station name is described, picture information B of the sender station name is recorded on items t1-tn of a column (b) of a storage section 4. After a paper sheet P1 is set to the read section 6, when a registered button 10 of a keyboard 9 is depressed, a changeover section 11 is thrown to the position of contact (e). When a dial button 12 is operated and a telephone number of a destination station is inputted, an inputted telephone number data D1 is stored in the 1st item t1 of a column (d) of the storage section 4. On the other hand, destination station picture information A1 read by depressing the registered button 10 is stored in the 1st item t1 of the column (a) of the storage section 4. The registration is finished by repeating the input operation above.
