PURPOSE:To reduce inconvenience of viewers of prepaid charge by selecting information carrier corresponding to channel selection of broadcasting station and recording information of charging in pertinent information carrier. CONSTITUTION:A card keeping device 2 has a card selection input terminal 4 and selects a relevant card from inputted channel selection information. When a desired broadcasting station is designated by a channel selection switch 6, code of corresponding card is outputted to a terminal 8 by a channel selection circuit 7 as selection information and inputted to a card transfer selecting device 3. The device 3 sends corresponding code to the device 2, and takes out a relevant card fromcards kept in the device 2, and transfers to a charge recording device 5. On the other hand, channel selection information outputted from the terminal 8 is sent also to a charge information storing circuit 9 by station, and charge information to a designated station is outputted to a terminal 10. The device 5 records the information on the card after deducting charge for the number of times watched by the viewer from the card basing on charge information obtained from the terminal 10.
