PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of an automatic cashier machine mechanism by coupling a collecting wheel, a blade, and a hopper with a link mechanism and controlling the swinging of said collecting wheel, rotation of said blade, the closing and opening operation of the front and rear medium retainers of said hopper, etc. by the action of said link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Link mechanisms having push levers 40, 41 are installed to the rotary shaft 12 of a collecting wheel 4 and the rotary shaft 14 of a blade 13 respectively. A link 29, provided on the rotary shaft 12 of the collecting wheel 4, moves the wheel 4 downward to a hopper 15. The push lever 40 on one side is operated to open a rear medium retainer 22. Further, a link 32 provided on the rotary shaft 14 of the blade 13, rotates the blade 13 foward a conveying passage, which is switched over and is ready to receive the medium. Then, after the medium is contained, the move of the link is restored, and the other push lever 41 is operated only by the link 32 installed to the rotary shaft 14 of the blade 13, opening a front medium retainer 16 to be ready for sending out the medium (paper money) 46.
