NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R<1> and R<2> are 1-4C lower alkyl). EXAMPLE:1,4-Bis(tert-butylthio)-3,6-bis(ethylthio)thieno[3,4-c]thiophene. USE:Application to organic semiconductors. PREPARATION:A cyclopropenethione derivative expressed by formula II is reacted with a phosphine expressed by formula III (R<3> is lower alkyl or phenyl) to give the aimed derivative expressed by formula I. The reaction is carried out in an inert solvent.
