PURPOSE:To obtain a molding material having light weight and excellent strength and water-resistance, and suitable for the manufacture of stage properties, tumblers, masks, etc., by impregnating a rubber latex in a soft polyurethane foam. CONSTITUTION:A soft polyurethane foam having open-cell structure is impregnated with a rubber latex either by dipping said foam in the rubber latex or spraying the latex to the foam. The excess rubber latex is properly squeezed out of the foam under moderate pressure to obtain an impregnated foam containing the rubber latex attached uniformly to the inner wall of the open cells to an extent to be slightly squeezed out of the foam by pressing.
