PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium rewriting device which can inexpensively supply the attractive services to customers by means of a display medium such as a portable card. SOLUTION: This rewriting device rewrites the rewritable display part 62 of a display medium 60 which includes a recording part 63 in addition to the part 62. The rewriting device has an information reading means 11 which reads the information recorded on the medium 60, an arithmetic means 12 which performs the prescribed calculations, based on the information a1 that is read by the means 11, a calculation result ranking means 12 which ranks the calculation results of the arithmetic means 12 for every rank, a display information selection means 12 which selects the display information based on the ranks decided by the ranking means 12, and a display information writing means 14 which visibly writes the display information a2 that is selected by the selection means 12 at the part 62 of the means 60. |
