The invention enables the conductor to be installed without the use of any tool, solely by introducing its stripped end into the terminal and extracting it by manoeuvring a pusher acting on the spring in order to overcome its pressing action. The spring includes a fixed tab 4 acting as guide and support for the conductor 13, and elastic blade 5 exerting a pressure in order that its lip 11 continuously bears against the fixed tab 4 and, in the connection situation, pinches the stripped end 12 against this fixed tab 4, a return blade 6 acting on the blade 5 in order to increase the pressure. A pusher 3, on penetrating into the housing 2, acts on the end 9 and pushes the blade 5 back in order to release the conductor and to extract it from the terminal. The invention finds one application in connection devices used in telecommunication. <IMAGE>
