The roll comprises a shaft (1) on which are stacked a large number of annular sheets (3) of fibrous material capable of plastic flow, which sheets are compressed between two end discs (6, 8) the said roll comprising, at one of its ends, at least one pierced hole (16) for the injection of resin between the shaft (1) and the annular sheets (3) of fibrous material, this method being characterised in that a heat- curable resin is injected between the shaft (1) and the annular sheets (3) of fibrous material at a pressure greater than 12 MPa in order to subject the fibrous material to a prestress. <IMAGE> |
