PURPOSE:To collapse the core sand of a casting and to strip efficiently and easily the sand therefrom by oscillating the casting contg. the core sand by a chipping machine and ejecting and supplying compressed air to the core sand of the casting. CONSTITUTION:The casting having the core sand 22 is positioned and supported on a jig plate 4 of a base flask 1. The above-mentioned casting 20 is oscillated by a chipping hammer device which is disposed to the upper horizontal flask 2 of the flask 1 and consists of a cylinder unit 5, a chipping machine 6, a hammer 602, etc. The compressed air supplied from a hose 12 is ejected and supplied to the core sand 22 from nozzles 11 attached to a support plate 10 through the through-holes 401 of the plate 4 and the sand discharge holes 23 of the casting 20. The collapsion of the sand 22 is thus accelerated and the sand is efficiently discharged. |
