PURPOSE:To improve the binding strength and dislodging-resistant performance of a flux by incorporating specific weight % of alkali metal ions and Cl ions into the flux and adjusting the ion compounding ratio expressed by the ion concn. ratio within a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:The Cl ions are incorporated at 0.0005-0.011% in the form of the Cl-contg. water glass added with Cl ions to water glass into the flux and further the alkali ions are incorporated at 0.5-2% therein by compounding of an alkali metal compd., etc. The ion compounding ratio expressed by the ratio between the concn. of the alkali metal ions and the Cl ions is adjusted within a 100-3,000 range. The binding strength of the flux is improved by the oxidation effect of the Cl ions for the surface of a wire. The moisture absorption of the flux is prevented by the alkali metal ions incorporated therein. The rate of oxidation reaction is adjusted by the balance of the ion concn. and therefore the dislodging resistance is improved. |
