PURPOSE:To reduce a speed change shock by keeping a frictional engagement device for the second speed in the engagement state when a car velocity is below a designated value, and a shift lever is in P-range and R-range. CONSTITUTION:An output from a car velocity sensor 102 is input to ECU104, and when a car velocity is below a designated value, and a shift lever is in P- range and R-range, a frictional engagement device B2 for the second speed is kept in the engagement state. Thus, when the lever is shifted to D-range, the same state as that of indication of the second speed is formed to reduce a speed change shock. |
