PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which can prevent the dissipation of a rattle sound from a steering wheel by attenuating vibration being a cause of the rattle sound, and preventing the transmission of vibration to the steering wheel.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device comprises: a steering shaft which is connected to a steering wheel; an electric motor; a deceleration mechanism which is composed of a worm integrally rotating with a rotating shaft of the electric motor, and a worm wheel which is engaged with the worm, and increases torque which is generated by the electric motor; a wheel shaft for supporting the worm wheel; and a torsion bar which is arranged between the steering shaft and the wheel shaft. At least the steering shaft and the torsion bar, or at least the wheel shaft and the torsion bar are connected via a damper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
