PURPOSE:To smooth clutch operation by providing a pressure switch closed when the air pressure in an air chamber exceeds a designated value, and an adjust valve for supplying subsidiary air to the air chamber until the pressure switch is closed. CONSTITUTION:A clutch device 10 is operated by air in an air chamber 20 to which air is supplied through a main valve 18 opened and closed by a clutch operation means 16. The device 10 is provided with a pressure switch 22 which is loaded in response to air pressure when the air pressure in the air chamber 20 amounts to a designated value and with an adjust valve 24 for supplying subsidiary air to the air chamber 20 until the pressure switch 22 is closed. In this arrangement, even if a clutch lever has any play in it, the clutch lever is quickly operated to immediately pass the play area to smooth clutch operation. |
