PURPOSE:To obtain a maintenance robot which surely performs maintenance works under an unmanned condition, by providing freely revoluable and rotatable wheels and their planetary wheel mechanisms to a car body, a manipulator which performs various works, and visual mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The running device 1 of a maintenance robot is provided with a car body 2 and planetary wheel mechanisms 3 respectively installed to the four locations below the car body 2 in the front and rear and right and left sections. Moreover, a manipulator 4 which has a degree of freedom of nine and projected from the left side section of the car body 2 is also installed to the device 1. In addition, a visual mechanism 5 which can recognize the running condition of the running device 1 and working condition of the manipulator 4 is provided at the rear section of the upper surface of the car body 2 and, at the same time, the running device 1, manipulator 4, and visual mechanism 5 are operated under a condition where they are related with each other by means of an operation controller. Therefore, labor is reduced from maintenance works and an unexpected phenomenon can be treated properly. |
