PURPOSE:To allow a sustained stable heating operation by preventing a rapid increase of the high pressure by reducing the compressor speed at the same time as the reduction of the wind intensity, and thereafter increasing the compressor speed in stages. CONSTITUTION:When the wind intensity is switched, the amount of air that exchanges heat with hot refrigerant gas in a room unit heat exchanger 10 changes, which causes the high pressure as well as the air temperature blown out of the room unit heat exchanger 10 to change. Particularly, when the wind intensity is switched to 'low' while operating under the heating mode with the wind intensity set at 'high', there is a rapid increase in the high pressure. In a worst case, a high pressure interrupting device 8 may be activated to inhibit the sustained operation. So, when the wind intensity is switched while being operated, a signal is sent via a room unit control device 12 to an outside unit control device 9 to reduce the speed of a compressor 1, and then the speed is increased in stages after a certain time period has elapsed in order to allow a sustained stable operation without triggering the high pressure interrupting device 8. |
