PURPOSE:To improve the charging ratio of abrasive grains up to such a degree as 96% or more and to greatly improve the performance of abrasive grains by using a particular bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:The grain oil of cashew nuts or a derivative thereof is reacted with the resin for synthetic resin bonding agent forming cashew modification resin. The mixture of synthetic resin bonding agent containing the reacted formation and abrasive gains is heated and pressured in accordance with the ordinary way of molding to obtain a polishing stone. By thus producing a polishing stone, the charge ratio of abrasive grains can be improved up to such as degree as 96% or more.
