PURPOSE:To pulverize efficiently a molten metal by juxtaposing plural pieces of impellers having impact vanes in such a manner that the impact vanes face each other and supplying the molten metal to the part where the vanes face each other. CONSTITUTION:The impellers 1 which are provided with the plural impact vanes 2 at equal intervals and have the same shape and the same size are installed in parallel with each other in such a position where the rotating cylindrical faces of the vanes 2 face each other and where the revolving shafts thereof are at the same height. The impellers 1 are rotated in the directions opposite from each other. The flow 7 of the molten metal is poured to either of the rotating vanes 2 between the impellers 1, by which the molten metal is pulverized. The pulverized metal is scattered toward the vanes 2 of the other rotating impeller 1 by which the metal is again impact pulverized. The molten metal drops are repeatedly pulverized between the impellers 1 in the above- mentioned manner until metallic powder 8 is produced. The metallic powder 8 which is much pulverized is thus produced.
