PURPOSE:To process quickly and easily a titled material, to recover easily silver at high efficiency and to make possible the processing with excellent image preservability by incorporating >=1 kinds among compds. of specific 5 groups together with the ferric complex salt of an org. acid into a bleach-fix bath. CONSTITUTION:>=1 Kinds among the compds. expressed by the formulas I, II, III, IV and V [Q is the atomic group necessary to form a heterocycle contg. >=1 N atoms (including the ring in which 5-6-membered unsatd. rings are condensed to at least one of these rings), R<1> is H, alkyl of 1-6 C, cycloalkyl, etc., A is the group expressed by the formula VI, etc., Y is >N- or >CH-, Z is H, alkali atom, NH2, etc., B is alkylene of 1-6 C, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, R<6> and R<1> are respectively H, alkyl of 1-6 C, OH, COOH, NH2, etc.] are incorporated together with the ferric complex salt of the org. acid into the bleach-fix bath of a silver halide color photosensitive material. The desilvering rate of the high-sensitivity photosensitive material is thus improved, the efficiency of the silver recovery is improved and the bleach-fix bath is stabilized. |
