PURPOSE:To provide an antibacterial agent utilizing the humus-forming reaction to suppress the growth of noxious microorganism and inactivate the microorganism, by using the antibacterial activity of the metabolic product of a soil bacteria participating in the formation of humus and the polycondensation reaction caused by the formation of humus. CONSTITUTION:The objective antibacterial agent can be prepared by using a humus-forming reaction achieved by mixing 100pts. of humus stored or synthesized in anaerobic state and having an inorganic content of 20-50% with <=50pts. of a substance rich in activated silicate. The inorganic component should be the one originated from the rock of andesite or rhyolite, because the fumus-forming reaction is caused by the reaction of an organic component with a silicate and the above metabolic product. The preparation can be used for the processing of organic mixture such as waste-water treatment, deodorization, manure production, feed preparation, food processing, etc., and for the production of various pharmaceuticals or their raw materials including the soil improving agent, water-cleaning agent, and agricultural chemicals. |
