PURPOSE:To eliminate the coating of silver paste and drying process as the post process, simplify the manufacturing process and thereby obtained a long life picture display apparatus by providing a process for forming a transparent conductive film before the process for forming stripes. CONSTITUTION:Electron beam is generated from an electron beam generating apparatus 17, an oxide tablet 14 is irradiated with electron beam, it is vacuum deposited on the opposite glass plate 1 and thereby L-shaped transparent conductive film 6 is formed. Thereafter, the black stripes and stripes of phosphor materials of R, G, B are alternately formed on the surface of glass plate except for the plate on which vacuum deposition is carried out by the exposing method. Thereby, coating of silver paste and drying process as the post process can be curtailed and manufacturing process can be simplified. Moreover, since the silver paste which is the gas release source at the anode surface can be curtailed, operation life of picture display apparatus can be extended. |
