PURPOSE:To obtain many effective powers at an output by absorbing electromagnetic energy generated at an inductance when a switch element is turned OFF by a capacitor, and supplying it to a load at the special timing. CONSTITUTION:Gate turn OFF thyristors (GTO) 121-126 are used for a rectifier 12, and a freewheel diode 11 and an energy absorber 13 are added. In order to obtain many effective powers at the output by the GTO type rectifier 12, the relation between a firing angle alpha and an extinguishing angle beta is set to the range of an equation (where tau: the electromagnetic energy inverting period of a power source inside inductance, f: a power source frequency). Thus, a pattern voltage Vp and the actual battery voltage VB are compared, and the firing angle alpha of the rectifier 12 is controlled by the deviation VB. At this time the angle is fixed by the constant voltage VB to, for example, beta=30 deg.. Thus, the effective power supplied to the battery 40 can be increased. |
