PURPOSE:To speedily feed oil into a clutch, brake, etc. by installing a choke-type throttle valve into a feedback oil passage and increasing the line pressure immediately after the start at a low temperature, in a hydraulic controller for an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:When a oil pump 24 starts the discharge of oil into an oil passage 26, the resistance of a choke type throttle valve 20 is very large, since the temperature of the oil is low, and a certain time is necessary for the oil to pass through the choke-type throttle valve 20 and to push-down a spool 14. Since a port 12b and a port 12f are in closed before the spool 14 is pushed- down to a pressure adjusting position, the oil in the oil passage 26 is not discharged, and the line pressure in the oil passage 26 obtains a high value. Therefore, the sharp inflow of oil into a clutch, brake, etc. is permitted. |
