PURPOSE:To exactly perform data transmission between the primary and the secondary communication lines by providing a time-fill interval setting mean that sets the operation time of the central processing mean based on the transmit termination interrupt signal. CONSTITUTION:In case when the data is transmitted from a communication line 1 to a line 2, a data of one frame is transmitted from a communication controlling mean 4, and at the same time the transmit termination interrupt signal is inputted to a processor 6. And, by this signal, the timer mean 9 in the processor 6 operates. At this time, the set time that has been set by the time-fill interval setting mean 8 is inputted to a mean 9, and the mean 9 generates a signal after the set time lapsed. By this signal, the processor 6 lets a mean 4 transmit the front data in a memory 5. the mean 4 transmits this data to the line 2. Accordingly, of the data transmitted from the mean 4, the interval between a frame and a frame is the time-fill interval mentioned above, and hence the data can be transmitted as corresponding to the rate of communication on the part of the line 2.
