PURPOSE:To strive for signal amplification and find a solution of circuit response which hinders a high-speed scanning by integrate for a definite integration period a light signal current which is produced by each photoelectric conversion element. CONSTITUTION:When a switch S01 is on, at an applied voltage side of the first block B1, a switch group S11...S1m at a side of signal taken out of this block B1 is changed over from the half back portion of pulse in a pulse width of t one after another. In this case each integrator 11...11m is reset only by a time of t previously. When a switch group S02 at the applied voltage side of the second block B2 is on, in like manner, a switch group S1...S2m at a side of signal taken out of this block 2 is changed over in order. In this case, the reset of each integrator I21...I2m is carried out in the same way of the first case. When a signal is amplified by integrating for a fixed period, the light signal current of a carrier-injection type photoelectric element is read by driving in this way and it is possible to obtain a better signal of stable S/N.
