PURPOSE:To execute a good cleaning extending over a long period of time by a small-sized and inexpensive structured by constituting a titled device so that a cleaning blade of a thin plate which has been stuck to a supporting member supported by a spring is inclined and made to abut onto an already cleaned side of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate 8 being a cleaning blade is stuck to the inside of a supporting member 7 supported by a spring 6, its tip is made to abut onto a photosensitive body 1 at an angle of <=90 degrees, and it is made to abut on uniformly by setting a ratio of a free end l and a thickness (h), and the thickness (h) as 10-30, and 50-300mum, respectively. Accordingly, since said cleaning blade abuts on by a low load, its tip is excellent in its abrasion resistance and durability, and a good cleaning can be executed extending over a long period of time a small-sized and inexpensive structure. |
