PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of a cracking due to fatigue in a construction, complicated in the shape or large and thick, by providing a slit at a point intended to generate a cracking due to fatigue of a construction to be inspected to apply a repeated tension load with a load jig mounted. CONSTITUTION:A slit 2 is worked at a point intended to generate a cracking due to fatigue of a construction 1 to be inspected and repeated load jigs 3 and 4 are welded on both sides of the slit 2 of the construction 1 in the direction perpendicular to the slitting way. An actuator 5 is interposed between the jigs 3 and 4. Then, when a repeated tension load is applied on the jigs 3 and 4 with the actuator 5, the desired cracking due to fatigue can be generated and progressed starting from the slit 2. Thus, a fatigue cracking can be formed simply at the desired point of a structural test body to be tested complicated in the shape or a thick test body. |
