PURPOSE:To provide a polyolefin compsn. having improved radiation resistance, by blending triallyl (iso)cyannurate and a hindered amine compd. with a polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:0.3-5pts.wt. triallyl isocyanurate and/or triallyl cyanurate and 0.01-0.3pts.wt.hindered amine compd. are blended with 100pts.wt. polyolefin. Among polyolefins, propylene polymers such as polypropylene, propylene/ethylene random or block copolymer and propylene/1-butene copolymer have a remarkable effect. As the hindered amine compd., heterocyclic hindered amine compds. composed of a six-membered heterocyclic ring contg. a hindered amine nitrogen atom and optionally other heterocyclic atom are preferred. |
