PURPOSE:To provide the titled crushing agent having an excellent expanding crushing force, containing a thermal expanding agent having a specified expansion temp. CONSTITUTION:Water is mixed with 0.01-10wt% thermal expanding agent having an expansion temp. of 50-250 deg.C, composed of the microcapsules, beads and chips of a thermoplastic resin (e.g. vinylidene chloride copolymer resin) contg. an org. blowing agent (e.g. azodicarbonamide), an inorg. blowing agent (e.g. sodium borohydride) and a low-boiling hydrocarbon (e.g. isobutane) to obtain a hydration-swelling crushing agent.
