PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for defending oneself during tidal wave flooding, since there is no consideration or contrivance for impact to an individual person during tidal wave flooding.SOLUTION: A life jacket 1 has length enough to sufficiently cover a range of a user's shoulder to waist part, and has sufficient buoyance. The life jacket is formed of a material which is hardly sheared, since the life jacket absorbs impact when a floating matter collides with the life jacket. In addition, for defending user's both legs from impact, a tough protection bag having impact resistance in which both legs can be accommodated, is provided in a front side of the life jacket 1. The protection bag is formed by sewing a part of an upper part inlet to inside of the life jacket 1, and the residual part is a loose gathered type and is formed into size capable of storing both legs in a state in which the legs are folded. A head protector 2 having impact resistance is attached to an upper part of the life jacket 1 for protecting a head part. In addition, a bottle containing a small amount of compressed oxygen or compressed air, is incorporated or attached to the life jacket, if necessary, the oxygen or air is released by one button, for helping breathing and suppressing swallowing of water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
