摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device, an image formation system and a post-processing method which can suppress variations in a penetration force of a staple needle and a deviation in a binding position.SOLUTION: A post-processing device comprises: a saddling and accumulating part 51; an apex support part 57 which supports a fold b of a signature PA from the inner side; a stapler (stapling part) 54 which drives a staple needle SP to the fold b of the signature PA; a clincher (needle receiving part) 53 which receives the needle tip of the staple needle SP via an opening 51b; sheet conveyance parts 55, 56 which move the signature PA along the fold direction; and a post-processing control part 70. The post-processing control part 70 sets the apex support part 57 at a normal position of supporting the fold b of the signature PA accumulated in the saddling and accumulating part 51 from the inner side at the time of accumulating the signature PA, executes a stapling operation after the apex support part 57 is retracted to the inner side of the saddling and accumulating part 51 after accumulating the signature PA, and returns the apex support part 57 to the normal position after executing the stapling operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
