PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spew trimming technique by which after a spew is trimmed, a load due to a removal work in an inspection process can be reduced without generation of stain by a lubrication on a surface of a tire.SOLUTION: Spew trimming equipment for ablation of spew formed on a surface of a tire after vulcanization by a cutter blade comprises: rotating means which rotates the tire after vulcanization; spraying and coating means which sprays and coats a lubricant onto a surface of the rotating tire after vulcanization; a cutter blade for ablation of spew; and contacting means which brings the cutter blade into contact with the surface of the tire after vulcanization. The spraying and coating means performs spraying and coating of the lubricant by use of an internal mixing type mist nozzle which previously mixes the lubricant and air in the interior thereof and sprays them as mists, and discharge port of the mist nozzle is positioned above the tire after vulcanization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
