PURPOSE:The titled foam that is produced by combining a base rubber containing polynorbornene rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber with a tackifying resin, a softening agent and a liquid halogenated hydrocarbon, then vulcanizing and foaming the resultant composition, then slicing the surfaces, thus holding adhesion for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. of base rubber which has been prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. of polynorbornene rubber with 15-65pts.wt. of an ethylene-propylene rubber of high molecular weight are combined with (B) 10-200pts.wt. of a tackifying resin, preferably of 50-90 deg.C softening point, (C) 100-400pts.wt. of a rubber softening agent, preferably aromatic or naphthenic oil and (D) 10-100pts.wt. of a liquid halogenated hydrocarbon, chlorinated paraffin and the resultant composition is vulcanized and foamed using a vulcanizer and foaming agent. The foamed product is sliced on its surfaces to increase its surface area whereby a rubber foam suitable for dusting mat which can adsorb just powerfully is produced. |
