PURPOSE:To enable manual speed change with correspondence to the feeling of driver by constructing a shift lever into reciprocal sliding type having advancing means setting area for freely setting the torque ratio within variable range, back setting position and neutral setting position. CONSTITUTION:The operating unit 1 of power transmission system mounting a stepless speedchanger 2 can select between parking (P) range, reverse (R) range, neutral (N) range and advance manual setting area or manual (M) range through reciprocation of a shift lever 4. Under M-range, a torque ratio signal corresponding with the setting position is produced continuously or in step from torque ratio variable range setting means 5 with correspondence to reciprocal sliding of the shift lever 4. Said setting means 5 is provided with a potentiometer 6 to control the torque ratio of stepless speedchanger 2 with correspondence to the torque ratio to be set in accordance to the output from said means 5 by means of torque ratio control means 140. |
