PURPOSE:To obtain a bonding glass which is a glass free from PbO and useful for the bonding of ceramic and ferrite, by compounding SiO2, B2O3, Al2O3, Na2O, K2O, Li2O, ZnO, and MgO at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The objective glass for bonding is produced from a composition obtained by compounding 23-35(wt)% SiO2, 28-38% B2O3 (SiO2+B2 O3=61-63%), 11-16% Al2O3, 9-17% Na2O, 0-8% K2O, 0-0.5% Li2O, 2-8% ZnO and 0-2.5% MgO.
