PURPOSE:To make a position adjusting mechanism and its control device uncomplicated and simple, by constituting a picture photographing device in such a way that the framing work of the photographing lens of a zoom lens is performed by fixing the distance between an indicator and exposure sheet and, at the same time, two-dimensionally moving the two. CONSTITUTION:An image reproducing unit 6A in a box body 1 acting as a black box moves along rails 11A and an exposure stage 7 equipped with an exposure sheet 8 moves in the direction A. A photographing lens 4A is constituted of a zoom lens whose focal plane does not move and an image of a desired size can be formed on the surface of the sheet 8 without changing the distance in the direction of optical axis (alpha) between an indicating section 12 and sheet 8. Therefore, when the focus point of the photographing lens 4A is adjusted, images of the sizes designated by the two-dimensional movement in the directions of the rails 11A and A can be framed and the position adjusting mechanism and its control device can be simplified and made uncomplicated.
