发明名称 OPTICAL AXIS ALIGNING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To align the optical axis of a laser diode and the axis of an optical fiber quickly and easily with a high precision by operating a driving means while observing a TV monitor and a light quantity display means. CONSTITUTION:A laser diode 1 with the optical fiber is fixed to a laser diode attaching tool 10, and a manual X-Y stage 9 and an X-Y state 8 with a motor are moved manually to bring a fiber guide 5 to the position where it can be grasped by a grasping mechanism part 7, and the fiber guide 5 is grasped. A fiber scope 13 is so set that a fiber aligning part in the laser diode 1 with the optical fiber can be observed, and the X-Y stage 8 with the motor is moved by a stage controller 19 on a basis of output results of an X-Y recorder 18 and a monitor 17 while observing the X-Y recorder 18 and the monitor 17. The fiber guide 5 is moved in X and Y directions until the value of the optical output outputted to the X-Y recorder 18 becomes a prescribed value, thus aligning the optical axis.
