PURPOSE:To always exhibit the removing effect of curls in a roll paper, by providing a blade for removing curl in the roll paper, which is moved by a lever member rotating in accordance with the diameter reduction of the roll paper so that the space between the outer surface of the roll paper and the blade is maintained to be constant. CONSTITUTION:A lever member 7 having a press-contact roll 8 which is always urged to be pressed against on the outer surface of a roll paper is rotated clockwise in accordance with the diameter reduction of the roll paper on a wind-up core. In accordance with the rotation of the lever member 7, a curl removing blade 3 attached to the lever member 7 by means of a pin 9 is rotated counterclockwise about a pivot pin 5 as a rotating center. The front end edge 3' of this blade 3 is moved in the direction approaching the wind-up core 1. Accordingly even if the diameter of the roll paper on the wind-up core 1 is reduced, the space between the outer surface of the roll paper on the wind-up shaft and the front end edge 3' of the curl removing blade 3 may be maintained to be constant without being enlarged, and therefore the bent angle alpha the roll paper will not increase thereby the drawing action of the roll paper by the front end edge 3' will be not reduced.
