PURPOSE:To attain the efficient information management and the efficient utilization of information by executing optical disc reproduction and the reproduction of a magnetic disc on which a still image is magnetically recorded by an electronic still camera with a common circuit and transferring the information recorded on the magnetic disc easily onto an optical disc. CONSTITUTION:When recording the contents of the magnetic disc 2 recorded with the electronic still camera to an optical disc 3, changeover switches still camera to an optical disc 3, changeover switches 12, 13, 14, 19, 21, 22 and 27 are turned over to the contact side of the magnetic disc contacts (the side opposite side to the position shown) by the figure to reproduce the disc 2. An sound demodulating circuit 17 is changed over to demodulation characteristics at the time of chrominance difference signal reproduction. Reproduced brightness signals passing through a reproducing amplifying circuit 36, bandpass filter 37, and a video demodulating circuit 15 are supplied to a brightness and chromaticity mixer 18, while the chrominance difference signals passing through the reproducing and amplifying circuit 36, a bandpass filter 38, the audio demodulating circuit 17, a chromaticity signal processing circuit 28 and a demodulating circuit 29 are also supplied to the mixer 18 and the output thereof is FM modulated through a write switch 31 by an FM modulating circuit 32 to be written by a writing device 33 to the optical disc 3.
