PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device that has made it possible to inspect only a tool used in actual machining in shape of the actually fitted tool.SOLUTION: A numerical control device 1 for controlling a machine tool equipped with an automatic tool exchange device and photographing means comprises: a tool management data storage unit for storing, for each tool number, tool management data created by correlating at least the shape of a tool and data pertaining to tool dimensions; tool exchange command execution means for controlling the automatic tool exchange device on the basis of a tool exchange command in an NC program and executing a tool exchange; tool image acquisition means for photographing and acquiring a tool image of an exchanged tool; post-exchange tool data calculation means for analyzing the tool image and calculating the shape and dimensions of the exchanged tool; collation means for collating the shape and dimensions of the exchanged tool against the tool shape and dimensions stored in the tool management data storage unit; and display means for displaying the result of collation by the collation means on a screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
