PURPOSE:To execute satisfactory painting without unevenness by providing concentrically and internally a paint storage tank into a core cylinder of a roller for painting and disposing a small-diameter paint supply pipe concentrically with the roller. CONSTITUTION:The paint storage tank 9 is concentrically and internally provided to the inside of the porous core cylinder 3 of the roller 1 for painting and the roller 1 is made rotatable relative to the tank 9 in a roller type painter of a paint force feed type. the paint supply pipe 2 which supplies the paint from the end in the axial center direction of the roller 1 to the tank 9 inside and has the diameter smaller than the diameter of the tank 9 is disposed concentrically with the roller 1 and paint discharge holes 13 are provided at suitable intervals in the axial center direction to the upper part of the circumferential wall of the tank 9. the paint is thereby once stored in the tank and is then discharged from the discharge holes in the upper part. Since the tank averages the paint pressure, the satisfactory painting without the unevenness is executed.
