PURPOSE:A finish cosmetic having good touch in use and stability with time, obtained by blending cosmetic with thin pieces of titanium oxides having different thickness and sizes as pigment. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic is blended with thin pieces of titanium oxide (having high reflectance, namely, high luster, having improved adhesivity, containing no impurities such as mica, snow white, no turbidity, and chemical stability) having 0.01-0.1mu average thickness and 5-100mu average size as pearly pigment and/or thin pieces of titanium oxide (having proper luter, no turbidity, more improved extending properties than those of powdery titanium oxide, chemically stable, slightly changing qualities, having higher refractive index, and changing no color even if it is wetted with water) having 0.1-3mu average thickness, and 0.8-70mu average size as extender pigment, to give cosmetic having improved extending properties, adhesivity, clearly coloring effect, and not causing decomposition of organic substance blended. The cosmetic may be incorporated with existing extender pigment, pearly pigment, and further may be mixed with thin pieces of titanium oxide with low luster. |
