PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily compensate the injection amount of a specimen by preventing non-uniformity due to the volatile component of the specimen, by inserting the leading end part of the needle of the syringe protrud ed from a storage part in an evaporation chamber through a partition wall to flow out the liquid specimen and drawing out said needle from the evapora tion chamber within a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:A cup 56 is moved under a needle N and the needle N is fallen by a motor M1 to be immersed in a solution while a plunger P is raised by a motor M2 to suck a predetermined amount of a liquid specimen in the barrel part B of a syringe. The barrel part B is raised by the motor M1 and the cup 56 is moved under the needle N. The leading end part of the needle N is fallen so as to reach the broken line 64 of an evaporation chamber VC through a partition wall S by the motor M1 and the plunger P is fallen to flow out the specimen. A non-volatile component is collided with the inner wall of the evaporation chamber VC and held to be prevented from being introduced into a carrier gas stream shown by an arrow. the leading end of the needle N is drawn up from the partition wall S within a predetermined time tw by the motor M1. By shortening the time tw, the evaporation of a volatile solvent is prevented.
